#FOODTALKS: Resilience by design – how to weather climate change

Food, people and climate change are inextricably linked. Climate change has an impact on what, how and where food is produced, and in return our food systems influence soils, landscapes, ecosystems and ultimately climate change. How can we all change our interactions with food and farming for the better – to decarbonise our food systems and help them be resilient for the future? Learning from what is currently happening in this space, we can (re)connect with the fundamental principles of ecological resilience and find ways to incorporate it into our businesses, organisations and daily lives.

Join us to find out on Thursday, 20th June 2019 (6.30-8.45pm) at Impact Hub Kings Cross to explore how to be part of making that happen.

Speakers and chair TBC.

#FoodTalks is brought to you by a partnership of the Food Ethics Council, Impact Hub Kings Cross, Organico, and London Food Link, part of Sustain: the alliance for better food and farming. At each of our #FoodTalks events, you will hear from expert speakers, get the opportunity to participate in the discussion on the topic of the night, and be able to eat some delicious buffet food.

There will be a small charge of £5 to contribute towards the cost of the evening. If that cost is likely to be prohibitive to you attending, please e-mail [email protected] to ask for a free bursary place.

Join us on Thursday 20th June (6.30-8.45pm) at Impact Hub Kings Cross. We will be announcing our next topic very soon. Sign up to our newsletter to keep up to date.
