FuckUp Nights is a global movement where stories of failed businesses and projects are told, questioned and celebrated!In each FuckUp Night 3 or 4 fuckupreneurs share their stories of failure including:
- What was their project?
- What did they do wrong?
- What did they learn?
- What would they do differently?
At the end of each story the audience asks questions. All accompanied by beer and good friends.
Speakers
Ash Taylor
Ash Taylor is an ex tennis coach who’s trained hundreds of players, coaches and teachers. He’s built three successful businesses and failed brilliantly at a fourth.
His talk will cover the mistakes he made and what he learned from them. Ash spends his time teaching other business owners and enjoying a very full life with friends and family.
Ben Gutkovich
Ben leads Business Development at easyCar Club, UK’s largest peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace, which he joined after a stint with McKinsey. Ben holds an MBA from London Business School, and a BA in Computer Science.
Ben will share his experiences at StrategyHunter (name changed for privacy), a B2B fintech company, he started in Israel in 2004, with an army friend.
Moses Sangobiyi
Athlete turned social entrepreneur; Moses is looking to spark conversation around failure and our relationship with it.
American Football was his life and being the first thing he excelled at; he began to wonder how far he could take it. In 2014, Moses chose to chase his dream and flew out to the US for trials with the NFL…
Naomi Jane
Naomi has spent the last decade empowering business leaders and entrepreneurs to discover their purpose, step into their true power and build businesses and lives they love.
She launched her first business at university; The 4WD Foundation delivered behavioural change programmes to London’s most vulnerable young people. It then failed fantastically in 2011. And she’s never spoken about what happened, until now.
