A workshop to understand how to support early-stage social enterprise recruit their first employee

Impact Hub King’s Cross, working in close collaboration with EMES Network and supported by Nesta’s Bright Ideas Fund, is exploring the gap between founder-led social startups and first-time recruitment. We invite social entrepreneurs from all backgrounds and at all stages of development to come share with us their experience of recruiting their first employee. What helped? What didn’t? What could have made things better? Ultimately, we’re interested in exploring whether we need a new financing instruments that would help early-stage social enterprise grow successfully, by attracting talent and creating new jobs in the socent sector.
