With the goal to help you navigate and connect with these extraordinary organisations, community of people and provide a resource of learning, inspiration and actions we have designed this evening in three parts.

1) The learning part:  Business Model Canvas for Social Enterprise Made Easy

The Business Model Canvas, is a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool which has been gaining recognition recently. It facilitates the description, design, challenge, invention, or pivot of your business model. Here, we’ll introduce and break-down some of the language used to describe the plan and have a quick look at the plan itself that could enable you to put your social venture on a whole new footing.

Speaker: Graham Gardiner of Aspiren is an experienced leader and social entrepreneur, who is passionate about service design, business modelling and social changes.  This will be an interactive and practical session to hone in your business.

2) The get to know part: An 10 minute open mic to introduce members of the MeetUp, this will be a chance to learn more about each other, exchange experiences and identify further collaboration opportunities:

Speaker: Richard MilBurn will talk about his two early social enterprises businesses Tunza and Tunza Games. Tunza, is an ethical fashion brand with a mission to protect gorillas and alleviate poverty in central Africa and Tunza Games, is a board game design and retail company, creating games that are both fun and educational.
