INNOVATE LIKE ENTREPRENEURS

Would you like to empower your employees to innovate like entrepreneurs? Inject the Impact Hub’s disruptive and innovative culture into your company by having employees or innovation teams work directly from out of the Impact Hub King’s Cross. Your team will get access to our creative space, collaborative community, and curated networking events – helping them to develop working prototypes or new business models that accelerate your company’s business growth and success.

“I was challenged to set up a new Explore team at arms-length from the main business to focus on potential new sources of growth. When I discovered the Impact Hub, I knew I had come to the right place. New growth comes from innovations that meet real social needs, ideally in new ways. The Impact Hub is populated with budding young social entrepreneurs who think this way – and being amongst them has led to new opportunities for Heinz we previously would never have imagined existed.”

Design a bespoke programme

Our team of experts design and implements training programmes, specialized laboratories, hackathons and accelerators that serve as a springboard to explore new ideas.  These programmes invite the sharing of knowledge and create new opportunities for the birth and development of business ideas and products.

In partnering with us we create or support a customised programme that meets your business needs. With our deep connections and experience in the start-up and social innovation ecosystem, we can work with you to create and manage a programme that suits your organisational goals.

Case Study: Fellowship In 2014, Impact Hub in partnership with AXA and Swiss Re Foundation launched the Impact Hub Fellowship for Longer Lives, an exciting challenge that united ambitious, purpose-driven entrepreneurs hoping to revolutionise the status quo and create positive impact. Focused on innovative solutions to the challenges and opportunities presented by an ageing society, the Fellowship Program awarded three semi-finalists with a 3-month accelerator program including: monthly stipend, business support, full-time membership at Impact Hub King’s Cross and access to network from all three partners running the programme.

Following the three-month acceleration programme finalists Speakset, made up of Adi Kasliwal, Ewan Marshall and Matthew Simmonds were chosen by peers for their new video calling tool, which allows users to use their existing devices like their television to make secure calls to their loved ones and even GPs for health consultations.

FOR SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURS:

We can support you to explore, test and run a prototype of your business idea, support you to develop a growth and capacity build plan.

“Impact Hub helped us to think bigger. The conversations with others raised our ambitions and helped us to be more confident to aim for higher growth. Since working with Impact Hub, we have expanded within the UK and are piloting expansion to Greece and the Netherlands. Our turnover increased by almost 2.5 ties in less than a year and we have hired four new full-time and two new part-time staff.

They have had a fantastic boost on the trajectory of our enterprise and my own personal ambition. I firmly believe we would be in a very different, much lower level of growth position without the help of the Impact Hub, their staff and their mentors. It’s been great! A massive thank you to everyone involved.”

Steve Rimmer, CEO, Party for the People / Tickets for Good

Participants from Age UK, Breast Cancer Care and Centrepoint spend time with our facilitators to think through issues beyond the development of the products themselves.
