Impact Hub King’s Cross has a been paying its team (including temporary and contract staff) London Living Wage or higher rates for many years, but we are happy to share that we have finally received the official accreditation and are proudly displaying the logo on our website.
Paying less than the Living Wage means exactly what it says – that your employees cannot live on what you pay them. Even for a small social enterprise, we believe this would be condoning exploitation.
We’re glad to say most social enterprises in Britain (76%, according to research by Social Enterprise UK) do pay the Living Wage. In London, this is currently £10.75 an hour.
